About The Museful Mind

Beverley Arbuckle

Editor of a woman’s newsletter for 10+ years, Bev’s insightful and thought-provoking articles have garnered much attention and comment;  providing a firm foundation for this delightful new blog – The Museful Mind.  She is co-author of a book on the Methodist Church: Exploring 150 Years of Mission and Service.

A first-generation American (of Scottish heritage)  Bev calls New England home; enjoying its ever-changing seasons, the mountains, and ocean.  She attended Boston College, double-majoring in biology and theology.

When not ‘playing’ around with words, Bev can be found at the sewing machine immersed in designing and stitching landscape quilts.  An avid camper and hiker, the many hours spent studying and observing nature reflect prominently in both her writing and quilting.  The Museful Mind – a play on the words muse and useful – is a “How-to” exploring the ways and means of life as expressed in words and fabric.  Join the journey… and share your own manner of  ‘musing.
